Erbert & Gerbert's Sandwich Shop has taken the first step in the rollout of its new 2010 logo. The evolved logo incorporates "the Boys" icon introduced in 2007 and is the final piece of the rebranding efforts. For more information, download a PDF of the press release.

We have fantastic news to share with you! Erbert & Gerbert's has been awarded, on behalf of the The Effie Awards and the New York American Marketing Association, a winning entry in the 2009 North American Effie Awards competition: Erbert & Gerbert's Subs & Clubs in the David vs. Goliath category.
The case study provided for the Effies highlights all Erbert & Gerbert's marketing communications activities during the last 24 months, including store redesign, icon redesign, print advertising, radio advertising, guerilla marketing, public relations activities, Humanflipbook.com, and Candle Cannon campaigns.
It explained how Erbert & Gerbert's focused limited marketing dollars on a fresh brand experience to differentiate itself from the sub giants, creating an excitement and buzz online and offline - all while maintaining price point integrity.
The David vs. Goliath category is one of the most coveted categories in the competition as there are no specific industry restrictions for entrants. Erbert & Gerbert's will appear alongside brands such as McDonalds and Nokia at the Effie Gala on the evening of June 3, 2009, to receive either a gold, silver or bronze trophy in the category. Being included as a finalist is an honor in itself, as less than one-eighth of entering case studies emerge as winners.
The Effie Awards honor the most significant achievement in marketing communications: ideas that work. Known by advertisers and marketers globally as the pre-eminent award in the industry, the Effies recognize any and all forms of marketing communication that contribute to a brand's success. 04/22/2009 - New LTO Subs!
New Limited Time Offer subs are available! Erbert & Gerbert's Subs & Clubs launches its first limited time offer in three years. The sandwich franchise decided to launch three new spring sandwiches with the following names and ingredients:
- Solar, a sandwich including sweet chili sauce, ham & cheese, cucumbers, red onions and red bell peppers.
- Titan, a pesto mayo sandwich featuring turkey, tomatoes, cucumbers as well as sun-dried tomatoes, and cheese.
- Pompeii a sandwich consisting of a sweet chili chicken salad with tomatoes, sprouts, bacon and red onions. The first chicken sandwich in Erbert & Gerbert's history.
"Our goal with the LTO was to bring new and exciting sandwich options to our guests. "Human Filpbook" is a first-of-its kind spot airing on TV and streaming online. With 150 t-shirts, an iron, a little luck, and a lot of patience (especially from the intern whose body appears in the spot), the idea came to life. The result is a one-of-a-kind TV spot that embodies Erbert & Gerbert's quirky brand personality.

The 2006 Minnesota Daily Grapevine Awards are out and students and faculty have voted Erbert and Gerbert's Best Subs on Campus.
03.20.06 (Minneapolis, MN)--Hoenie & Jungling LLC, owners of the Dinkytown Erbert & Gerbert's Subs and Clubs, are the 2006 Grapevine award winners! Surveys taken from 850 students and faculty were collected through the daily campus newspaper. It is clear that students and faculty of the University of Minnesota campus enjoy Erbert & Gerbet subs over all others!
This is the fourth consecutive year that Erbert & Gerbert's has captured this honor.
